On 12 March 2024 the Ammogen project organised a Launch Event celebrating the installation of the final parts of the plant. The ammonia cracking unit and hydrogen separation unit fabricated by H2Site were delivered to the site and installed.
The Launch meeting agenda included presentations from project partners providing an overview of project activities:
- Start and General introductions
- Overview of Ammogen project – University of Birmingham / Gemserv.
- Overview of technological innovation & Enabling hydrogen transportation – H2SITE.
- Overview of TEP and how Ammogen fits the plans for the TEP hydrogen ecosystem – TEP.
- Q/A Discussions
The meeting was followed by a tour of the Ammogen demonstrator plant.
The meeting was attended by 22 people, including representatives from the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ), project partners and delegates from industry.
